Gino Fiorucci - CEO


Mr. Fiorucci brings to ISB Canada a successful business track record of more than 15 years of progressive senior management, financial and operations experience in various on-line and off-line businesses. His experience has provided him with an in-depth understanding of public, self-financed and venture-backed companies in addition to the practice of stabilizing businesses, leading them to profitability.

Gino was previously the President and a Board member of IncentiveCity Inc., Canada's leading provider of reward, loyalty and recognition software. While at IncentiveCity he rose through the ranks and managed a near bankrupt company to one of a great environment and high profitability. 

Previously, Gino has been a director and part of the senior management team of Information Technology Group helping the company quadruple its size within five years. His main responsibility was to manage production of all software development projects from design through to installation at the client site. Ancillary duties included managing all finance and administration.

Prior to working at Information Technology Group, Gino spent 5 years as part of the management team at Maple Leaf Foods - Grocery Division. As Senior Financial Analyst, he was responsible for preparation of financial statements, analyzing financial results of the company, as well as overseeing the compilation and distribution of the yearly operating plan.

Gino holds a Certified General Accountant professional designation as well as a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson University.

Michael Damm President


Under Mr. Damm’s progressive leadership, ISB has grown to be one of the leading suppliers of pre-employment background screening services and documents in Canada, even gaining an important foothold in the United States. Prior to ISB, Michael enjoyed a long, illustrious career with State Farm Insurance. There, he was an SIU adjustor and court-qualified appraiser who attended numerous mediations, arbitrations and trials, specializing in fraud from false theft claims, staged motor vehicle accidents, treatment clinic investigations and internal investigations. He has been a prominent investigator with claims involving organized crime and gangs as well as professionals such as medical professionals and legal representatives.

Michael’s career at ISB has included over 100 public speaking presentations across North America. A respected expert in the field, he has authored the Canadian Prospective Chapter on Background Screening in a U.S. industry book titled ‘Background Screening and Investigations, Managing Hiring Risk from the HR and Security Perspectives’ by W. Barry Nixon and Kim M. Kerr.

Stephen Anderson – Vice President


As vice president of ISB Canada, Mr. Anderson brings an illustrious investigative background and unique expertise in the area of information management, marketing and business development. Since 2001, he has taken the reigns of the company’s marketing efforts, and worked tirelessly to strengthen the quality and breadth of its many B2B partnerships across North America. 

Prior to joining ISB Canada, Stephen honed his leadership skills as security advisor for a major building developer, coordinating security and public access at high-rise buildings in Toronto. He also managed an airport hotel staff of 30, liaising with federal authorities on many security-related investigations. In this role, he had full airport security clearance with the RCMP.

A versatile and highly-skilled project director, Stephen oversaw construction and design of ISB’s company headquarters in Milton, Ontario, equipping it with state-of-the-art security. He is a member of ASIS, the American Society of Industrial Security, IAAI, the International Association of Arson Investigators, HRPAO, the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (as well as its Manitoba counterpart HRMAM), and APRC, the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada.

Teresa Klacl – Sales Manager

Teresa has recently been promoted from ISB's EBS Team Lead to Sales Manager. She possesses an excellent background in investigation and documentation having spent three years as an FSWEP immigration officer for the Canada Border Services Agency based at The Peace Bridge, Fort Erie. There, she interviewed and examined persons seeking entry to Canada to determine admissibility. She also interpreted and enforced the Acts of Parliament, Immigration and Refugee protection Act, the Customs Act, the Criminal Code of Canada, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and the Firearms Act. Teresa began her career at the Refugee Processing Unit Fort Erie and possesses an Honours BA in Sociology from Brock University, with a focus on Criminology.

Maranda Beattie – Customer Relationship Manager

Maranda brings a strong and diverse background in customer service, hospitality and business management to her role as ISB Customer Relationship Manager. Prior to ISB, she was manager for a leading fitness franchise at two different locations in Ontario. In this demanding position, she was responsible for driving sales, training and team building and improving the customer service experience for its members. Before joining this industry, she worked in customer service at a four star hotel, a member of Ontario's finest Inns, hotels and spas. Maranda is a travel and tourism graduate of Sheridan College Institute of Technology in Oakville.

Christopher McClelland – Customer Relationship Manager

A great career track record in sales and service has prepared Christopher for his role as ISB Customer Relationship Manager. Before ISB, he taught adults with special needs and helped provide visible and active community opportunities for them. Christopher also assisted in the creation of programs designed to help these special needs adults develop important everyday life skills. Prior to that, Christopher managed the express services division in the automotive industry. As a dealership manager, he was responsible for sales and marketing activities as well as daily business management and administration. Christopher holds a BA in English and History from Lakehead University.

Ashley Homen – Customer Relationship Manager

With a strong background in hospitality and corporate event management, Ashley brings exceptional client service skills to her role as ISB Customer Relationship Manager. Prior to ISB, she was hospitality manager, coordinating corporate events and meetings for the Glencairn Golf Club. She also honed her relationship management skills as food and beverage supervisor at Delta Hotel and Conference Centre in Guelph. With her superlative contract negotiation and event execution skills, Ashley is a real asset to the ISB customer relationship management team. She is a hospitality graduate of Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.

Traceyann Norman – Office Manager


Traceyann brings more than 19 years of combined bilingual, managerial, customer service and office administrative experience to her role as office manager at ISB Canada. With her people skills and natural "joie de vivre", she is a pleasant and personable gatekeeper, easily able to bridge any language or communications barriers and resolve customer issues efficiently. Prior to ISB, she worked in the trucking industry, building and maintaining new customer and vendor relationships as well as handling all day to day operations.
Valerie St-Louis – Operations Manager

Valerie calls on her outstanding security skills and years of administration, customer service and documentation experience to achieve success as operations manager. Prior to ISB Canada, Valerie was the research and development team leader at CoreX Technologies. Prior to that, she was manager of production and circulation for Chronicle Information Resources Ltd. Notably, during her 5 years with the Canadian Trade Index as an advertising contract administrator, she managed and implemented production procedures in accordance to ISO 9001 – making the Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters Canada (parent company) the first service company in the world to hold such a registered standardization. Another career highlight was working in Kenya as a data evaluator for the Harvard Institute for International Development. Her raw data work sheets were used to identify a revenue shortfall of approximately 7 million US dollars precipitating new legislation to strengthen the pre-shipment inspection process.
Valerie is a registered PI and possesses a Law and Security Administration diploma from Humber College.

Cheryl Young – Team Lead Insurance

With her exceptional customer service skills, Cheryl brings positivity and a great work ethic to her role as Team Lead Insurance. She has been with ISB Canada since 2006 and has proven to be a valuable asset to the company. Prior to that, she worked as an office clerk at Fresh Start Foods, in customer service at Tim Horton’s and as secretary assistant at Jubilee Elementary School.


Vatsla Dubey – EBS Team Lead, Intake Q & A


Vatsla brings more than nine years of wide-ranging international marketing, customer service and teaching experience to her role at ISB Canada. Her well-developed relationship building talents, strong analytical skills and ability to handle change have helped her produce quality results and bring about significant improvements in ISB Canada’s customer satisfaction levels.

Prior to ISB Canada, she has worked as a branch manager at a non banking financial firm, a retail store manager, an assistant project manager in marketing and has also held a senior teaching position in Saudi Arabia. Vatsla possesses a Masters Degree in Business Administration (marketing concentration) and post graduate diplomas in Applied Information Technology and International Business.
Lisa Kereliuk Process Improvement Lead

Lisa brings a passion for efficiency and a keen ability to improve systems to her role as Process Improvement Lead at ISB. Prior to joining ISB, Lisa worked with Statistics Canada collecting and maintaining records for the census and also with the federal and provincial governments clerking at the polls during elections. For several years before that, she lived in China where she founded and directed a preschool, and designed, created, and maintained a website to centralize the distribution of information to expatriates. Lisa has a BA in Psychology and Statistics from the University of Manitoba and also holds a certificate in Principles of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia.

Bart Barcicki – Software Developer

Bart is the brains behind the proprietary software and systems that allow ISB to remain on the leading edge of documentation search and management. His seamless applications and website upgrades have helped ISB respond more quickly and deliver results to its corporate client base, while providing the highest levels of customer service. Prior to ISB, Bart was a programmer at Telemed Diagnostic and holds a BA in Software Development from Seneca College.
